Howdy, Timothy!
Welcome back to planDisney. We're glad you've moseyed by with another great Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question!
Yeeee-haw!! It sounds like you're considering a cozy stay at the
Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. My family has yet to stay at this property, but we do always love galloping over to enjoy the
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue during our vacations!
Timothy, with a Class B camper, either the Full Hook-up Campsite or
Preferred Campsite would be suitable. Both of these campsites will provide ample space (up to 10ft. by 50 ft.) and full hook-up for your rig. The real difference between these site types is the location. Choosing a Preferred Campsite will guarantee a location near the marina and Pioneer Hall. The Full Hook-Up Campsites will be located nearer to the Meadow Recreation Area, where
Chip 'N' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long takes place! I recommend taking some time to think about how you'd like to spend your vacation and book the campsite type in the location that works best for you.
During your stay at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, I highly recommend making your way over to
Tri-Circle-D Ranch to say "hay" to the Happiest Horses on Earth, Timothy! Here, you'll be able to get up close and personal with the horses that power the vehicles on Main Street, U.S.A. - and even the pretty ponies that pull Cinderella's coach. While horseback riding is currently unavailable at this location, pony rides are offered for little cowpokes, and wagon rides are offered daily (weather permitting)!
Timothy, I hope you've found this information helpful. I'm hoping you have a rootin' tootin' good time during your stay at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground! If you have any additional questions about your escape to the wonder-filled wilderness, you're always welcome to trot back over to us at
planDisney. We're here to help you make the most of your time at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
Happy trails to you,
Lauren
