Where is the best location if you are trying to avoid the sound of fireworks during mnsshp? Would the Monsters Laugh floor treat stop be an option? Thanks.

Hello there, Bonita! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for bringing us your question. I totally understand wanting to find a comfortable spot during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party if fireworks sounds aren’t your favorite.

The great news is that you are absolutely welcome to spend some time inside the Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor treat stop while Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular is going on. It’s a covered, indoor space, and while you may still hear the booms faintly outside, it definitely helps soften the noise. Plus, you can collect some Halloween candy while you wait!

That said, I’d also suggest another great location: Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe in Frontierland. It’s a larger Quick-Service restaurant, and if you head inside during the show, you’ll find a nice place to sit down and relax until it wraps up. The building is pretty large, the sound is more muffled, and it’s a great excuse to take a break from the busy atmosphere.

Other indoor locations can also serve as a nice retreat. You don’t have to stay outside if the fireworks feel overwhelming. You’ll still be surrounded by the party atmosphere without all the noise!

One extra tip: I recommend bringing along noise-canceling headphones or even simple earplugs, especially if the sound is what concerns you most. Many Guests use them, and it can really add a layer of comfort so you can enjoy the evening without worry.

Bonita, I hope this helps you feel more prepared to enjoy your time at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! You’re going to have an amazing night full of candy, costumes, and spooky fun without needing to stress about the fireworks.

    Warm hugs,
