Ahoy Richard! It's great to have you onboard with us at planDisney. Welcome!
It sounds like a future Disney Cruise with some friends or family is on the horizon for you. That's fantastic! My family loves to share in the magic of cruising with our loved ones. When we cruise with a larger group, one of our favorite times of day is when we all join together for a meal. If we've been separated for parts of the day, (like when the kids have been having the time of their lives in the youth activities clubs) it's wonderful to share the highlights of our day over a meal.
To ensure that your travel party will be seated near each other (either at the same table or the one adjacent to it) and on the same rotational dining schedule, you will need to
link your staterooms together. You can accomplish this either through the Disney Cruise Line website or through the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.
To do this on the
Disney Cruise Line website, simply head to the website homepage and hover over the "Already Booked" tab in the right-hand corner. From there, click "My Reservations" under the "My Disney Cruise" heading and log in to your reservation. Once logged in, find your sailing information and select "Add Reservations".
Alternatively, download and open the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app and sign in to your reservation. From there, click the three horizontal lines on the bottom right-hand side of the screen labeled "More". Then click "Add Reservation" right below the waving Captain Mickey.
For either of these options, you will need the reservation number, last name, and birthdate of one of the Guests in the room with which you are connecting. Once you have officially been connected in this way, you can also make dining reservations at the adult-exclusive restaurants onboard or book activities together.
If you have already made separate dining reservations to Palo for example, but you are hoping to now link them, you will have to wait till you are onboard the ship to speak with the Crew Members at Palo to do so. They are very accommodating and will do everything that they can to help. And if
dining at Palo isn't on your radar, I highly suggest it. The service is spectacular and the menu options are delicious. It's a must-do for me on every cruise I take.
I hope I've pointed your compass in the correct direction, Richard. Please sail our way again if you have any additional questions.
Bon Voyage!
