What’s the best way to get kosher food in Disney? (Prefer to have fresh food, not TV dinners) Do the local restaurants deliver to Disney Hotels?

    Hi Ilana,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you so very much for asking me a question!

Food is a big part of my vacations, so I can completely understand why you’d be looking for some fresh and varied options during your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort. My good friend Jason K. has some great tips for keeping Kosher in the Disney Parks (he keeps Kosher at home, too) and I reached out to him for some more ideas.

If you want some fresh food that you can make yourself, he recommends Kosher Grill for their fresh food delivery. While there is a delivery cost associated with this service and he says that they’re very easy to work with. Because the in-room refrigerators can be pretty small, Jason also recommends asking your Disney Resort Hotel whether an extra one is available to store your food.

Please remember that your hotel’s food court may have a microwave available for re-heating your food but, if you’re planning to reheat food more than once during your vacation, I highly recommend staying in Family Suite-style accommodations at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort or Disney’s All-Star Music Resort. The small kitchenette and extra amenities that can be found in those rooms might go a long way towards making your stay as comfortable as possible.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. We’re always happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
