Hi Melissa!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so glad to hEAR you are considering planning a Disney Cruise Line vacation for your sweet family! So much is
included with your reservation and the memories made will last a lifetime!
I really don’t think you can go wrong with any of the incredible itineraries that Disney Cruise Line currently has! Disney Cruise Line does offer some holiday-themed sailings during
the months you are considering cruising and coming from experience those are a lot of fun for all! One thing that you may want to consider before booking your reservation is the age of your little Mouseketeers. Disney Cruise Line has onboard
Youth Clubs that are such a nice amenity for parents traveling with little ones. The Oceaneer Club and Lab is available for children who are between the ages of 3 and 12 and fully potty-trained. There is an onboard nursery which is reserved for those younger cruisers, but there is an additional fee for taking your littles to the nursery. If you want to take advantage of the Youth Clubs included with your reservation you will want to schedule your voyage for after your littles turn three.
With so much to do onboard, I always recommend at least a 4-night voyage for
first time cruisers. I think this gives you plenty of time to explore the activities onboard and not feel too rushed. But no matter what destination or itinerary you choose, you are guaranteed to have a magical time.
Please come back with more planning questions as your plan your adventure at sea!
Happy Sailing!
