Hi, what is the best way to get from HS to DD. We are spending the day at HS but there is no table service menu we like there and want to book somewhere for dinner and thinking DD. Thanks.

    Hi Donna!

Downtown Disney has a plethora of wonderful restaurants to satisfy just about any craving you may have and not to mention all the wonderful shopping!  Some of my favorites include Raglan Road and Wolfgang Pucks, then again I could probably make a meal off of those sundaes at Ghirardelli Ice Cream and Chocolate Shop!

There are several ways to get from Hollywood Studios to Downtown Disney and depending on the weather and what time of year can greatly impact which route I would suggest, but here are my top choices:
    • Take the POP Century bus from Hollywood Studios to POP Century, then take the bus at POP Century to Downtown Disney.  POP century is pretty close to Hollywood Studios so this is usually a quick option to cut down on travel time.
    • If there is not a huge wait, take one of the Friendship boats to the Boardwalk Inn and catch a bus to Downtown Disney.  This can take a little longer, but it is a nice boat ride if the wait is not too long.  You can also walk to the Boardwalk Inn from Hollywood Studios and catch the bus to Downtown Disney. The walk is about 15 minutes, but depending on the weather this might not be the best option.
    • Take the bus to Saratoga Spring Spa and Resort getting off at Congress Park bus stop within the resort itself (this is the closest stop to Downtown Disney) and just follow the walkways over to Downtown Disney.  This is a very short walk, but will also depend on the weather to make this option work.
There are numerous ways that you could get to Downtown Disney, but these are a few that I have had luck with depending on if I'm looking for time, convenience or atmosphere.  I hope this helps with planning your vacation and please visit us again if you have anymore questions!

    Happy Planning!
