Where is the best hotel for teenage boys. We have stayed at Pop Century for three years but thought about a change. Our 8 year old loves Pop Century, but the boys want something differently.

    Hi Trent!

Pop Century is my favorite Value Resort and you've already stayed there, so I recommend moving up to a different category of resorts.  My favorite Disney Moderate Resort is Port Orleans Riverside.  I think most teenagers would enjoy it over Pop Century.  Port Orleans Riverside has a large pool and a relatively long water slide, something that is missing at the Value Resorts.  In fact, Riverside's water slide is longer than the water slides at some Disney Deluxe Resorts.  There are also other activities for the whole family there such as cane pole fishing, renting various water craft, and going on a carriage ride at night.  There is also boat service to Downtown Disney and I find that both fun and relaxing, especially at night.  If you decide to stay there, I highly recommend the Alligator Bayou section of the resort.

If you want to consider a Disney Deluxe Resort then I suggest the Beach or Yacht Club.  That's because I think the teenagers would absolutely love Stormalong Bay, the main pool shared by both of those resorts.  It's like a mini-water park with a sand bottom pool and a huge water slide (built into a mast of a ship).  It's awesome.  My two boys, ages 11 and 6, never want to get out of the pool when we stay there.

Enjoy planning and write back if you have any more questions!
