what's the best hotel for a single mom and a 9 year old girl to stay at? I'm not sure I'm picking the right one.

    Nicole,

Obviously there are a lot of choices, and your 9-year old's interests might help in determining the most magical choice.

For my money, if a Deluxe resort is in my budget, I like the Beach Club. Since 9-year olds can stay up a bit later than the under-6 set, you have both the BoardWalk nearby, as well as Epcot's World Showcase for some fun evening entertainment. Also the swimming pool (Stormalong Bay), which is arguably the best resort pool on property, might be a good reason to stay as well.

If Moderate is more your speed (or budget!), I would go with Port Orleans Riverside. You can boat to Downtown Disney for shopping, dining, and some age-appropriate nightlife!

And for Value Resorts, I like them all, but would always pick Pop Century over the others.

Does that help get you started?

I am glad to help with any follow-up questions! Just tell me more about what you and your 9-year old like!

    Have a magical vacation!
