Hi Kristen,
It's so nice to see you stopping by planDisney with a question!
Given your abbreviated timeline, I suggest that you stay at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel within walking distance to one of those theme parks. My family prefers to walk to the parks, so we love
Disney's Contemporary Resort and
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa because we can walk to Magic Kingdom from those resort hotels. In the EPCOT area, we love
Disney's BoardWalk Inn, Disney's Beach Club and Disney's Yacht Club resorts.
Disney's Beach Club and
Disney's Yacht Club resorts have a fabulous pool area called
Stormalong Bay. Each of these resort hotels also has great dining experiences and other resort amenities.
As you consider which resort hotel to choose, think about the
dining reservations your family will likely make. Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has just recently witnessed the reopening of 1900 Park Fare. We are so delighted! This restaurant holds special memories for us because we visited on our girls' first trip.
Keep in mind that if you stay at Disney Contemporary or Disney's Grand Floridian resort hotels, you have access to
Walt Disney World Monorail transportation. I can tell you that the monorail after a long day is fantastic.
Kristen, I do hope this helps and keep up the excellent planning!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
