What would be the best hotel for preschoolers?

Hi, Jennifer! The best WDW resort for preschoolers is, in my opinion, the best one for the parents of preschoolers. Every Disney resort is kid friendly with dining, recreation, entertainment and decor that will meet (or exceed) any other hotel's standards. However, they all have their distinct appeals to different guests based on various reasons -- location, price, amenities, dining/recreation options or themes.

When choosing a resort, I advise to consider location as the top priority because convenience is important on vacation -- especially when there are little ones in tow. As a family with preschoolers, your prime location may be the Magic Kingdom resort area. Therefore, make it easy on yourself by being near the magic and consider one of the monorail resorts -- Contemporary, Polynesian or the Grand Floridian. In addition, Wilderness Lodge and the campsites and cabins of Fort Wilderness are only a boat ride away. All of these resorts provide the convenience of being able to go back and forth to the Magic Kingdom (and Epcot) without much hassle as well as boast top-notch dining and entertainment right on the resorts' premises. In addition, you have access to all of the other resorts listed simply because of your location and the ease of transportation.

In addition, there are wonderful extras -- such as being able to view fireworks from your room or have character meals in your resort -- which add to the ease of traveling with little ones. There are child activity centers, health clubs, spas and world-class dining available at the more convenient resorts.  However, because of their convenience, accommodations and amenities, the rates are going to be a little higher. I would recommend going during value season or checking with a travel agent or online for deals.

I hope this has helped you narrow down your decision, and please let me know if you have more questions. I'd love to help. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
