what are the best hotel options for 6 adults one child

Welcome back to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Timothy!

Wow, six adults and one very lucky kiddo touring Walt Disney World together will be EPIC fun; I'm so glad that you asked about the perfect resort to call home during your stay.

When we travel with other families, additional couples or even bring the grandparents along, we prefer to stay in one large space that offers a living area where we can all hang out between park visits but also has enough bedroom and bathroom options for everyone. At Walt Disney World Deluxe Villas, you can do just that. There, you'll find studios as well as 1, 2, and 3 bedroom Villas, and you can even reserve a combination that's right for everyone. For example, if some want their own dedicated space, a studio may be perfect for them, while the adults with the child can opt for the larger 1- or 2-bedroom, using the larger Villa for everyone to start and end their days together. When we stay in a Grand Villa, there are so many amenities that make us want to relax in the room--especially if there is a great view such as a Savanna View Grand Villas at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village. (Seriously, you'll never want to leave. :-) )

Another great option would be The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Two cabins would be a great way for your group to enjoy the great outdoor space of this beautiful resort while also providing indoor spaces where everyone could gather together, too. We absolutely love Wilderness Cabins!

Next, take a look at Casitas - 1 Bedroom Suites (sleeps up to 6 adults) or Casitas - Executive Suites (sleeps up to 8 adults) at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. This gorgeous resort is truly something special, and the ability to stay together in one space may be perfect for you.

Lastly, consider Family Suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Two Family Suites would give your group the space you need to spread out, but also provide areas to relax together in some super-cool themed rooms. Bonus: this resort offers Disney Skyliner Transportation which is a fun way to travel to both EPCOT and Disneys Hollywood Studios. (It's kind of like a ride in and of itself!)

Whatever you choose, we've found that having enough bathrooms, separate sleeping areas for the adults, and enough space to gather together (bonus if there is a full kitchen!) makes every moment together magical. Have so much fun planning!

As you explore all of your options for a visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, Timothy, be sure to send more questions our way. We love to help!
