What is the best hotel with MK tickets? Maybe just 3-4 days. On a strict budget can't do it all but want to get there while it is still so magical for my little princess. Decided to go without all the glitz and glimmer this time.

Emily, welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I understand the importance of a budget, and I have you covered! My own friends and family are usually surprised at how affordable a Walt Disney World vacation can be if you stick to the basics. Most importantly, you will still have a fantastic visit. You and your little Princess will have an amazing time!

The Walt Disney World Value Resort Hotels are truly an incredible value. They are clean, have fun theming, pools, food courts, and fun activities! Also, the complimentary transportation provided both to and from the airport and also to and from the Theme Parks and Downtown Disney area also help save money as there is no need for a rental car. My family's favorite Value Resort is Disney's Pop Century Resort. The large food court has many options, the park buses are the most efficient of any resort we have stayed at, other Guests decorate their room windows for all to see, and there are several different pools to enjoy.

Another way I saves a bit of money  on our trip is by having groceries delivered to our hotel. We use gardengrocer.com to order breakfast items, bottled water to bring to the Parks with us, milk, and snack items. We still eat the majority of our meals in the parks at Quick-Service Dining locations, but this helps cut down a bit on our dining budget.

Now those souvenirs! My husband and I rarely purchase items for ourselves - but the kids, of course, always want something! We purchase Disney Gift Cards for them before we arrive. This way they know exactly how much they have to spend. They tend to make smarter purchasing decisions, and rarely ask for anything once they know they have already spent their money.

Do not hesitate to visit us if we can be of any more help, Emily!

Meet the Panelist: Rachel, Wisconsin

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
