What is the best hotel for children under one year old? Do any of the resorts have on location daycare?

Hi Laura! I think the easiest answer to your 1st question would be "all of them!" but I'm sure that won't help you plan very much. Let me answer your 2nd question first - some Deluxe resorts do offer on-site childcare centers for children aged 4-12 who are potty trained. In-room babysitting is available for ages 6 months to 12 years - in partnership with independent childcare provider Kids Nite Out. Rates are hourly and vary by the number of children being watched. You can book directly from Kids Nite Out at 1-800-696-8105, as rates are subject to change.

Back to your first question - it really depends on what you plan to do at Disney. If want to go to the Magic Kingdom or Epcot frequently, your best bet is one of the monorail resorts: the Contemporary, the Polynesian and the Grand Floridian Resorts. These Deluxe hotels are right on the monorail line so you won't have to collapse your stroller to head to Magic Kingdom or Epcot.

If you'd like a moderate resort with a great kiddie pool, Coronado Springs fits that bill. There is a wonderful pool area there and since the resort is often used by convention goers, it's a nice quiet place to let your little one have a nap or two during the day. However, the main lobby and dining areas are quite a trek from the pool area, so that's something to keep in mind.

Personally, my family's favorite is Disney's Beach Club Resort. From there you can walk to Epcot or take a boat to Disney's Hollywood Studios. The sand-bottomed pool area is unbelievable and the kiddie area is surrounded  by sand for lots of fun digging and mess-making before you clean them off in the pool.

I hope this has given you some ideas of where to stay, if you have more questions I'd love to be able to give you more information based on your budget and what you hope to do on your vacation. I hope you come visit the panel again and have fun planning your vacation!
