Hi Anne!
Welcome to planDisney! With more than 25 hotels in the
Disney Resorts Collection, there is truly something for everyone! Since it sounds like your family of four may be looking for a little more space, let's take a look at what options may be available to you.
Anne, you can request adjoining (nearby) or connecting (with an interior door) rooms at any of Disney resorts so you are free to choose from any of the value, moderate, or deluxe properties if you choose this option. It's important to note that this is a request though and cannot be guaranteed. If you're making this request, I encourage you to
call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations and note your request right after booking the two rooms. A Cast Member can also assist you with making your reservation if you'd prefer to do so by phone instead of online.
The Family Suites available at
Disney's All-Star Music Resort and
Disney's Art of Animation Resort offer accommodations for up to six guests in a room. Here you'll typically find a separate bedroom with one bed and additional beds in the common areas that convert from sleep sofas or pull-down as Murphy beds. These rooms also usually feature two full bathrooms. Between the two, my personal preference would be Art of Animation as I love the theming of this property and the
Disney Skyliner is available to guests staying here for easy access to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Additionally, you'll find larger rooms and multi-bedroom villas available in the
Deluxe Villa Resort category. This will give you the most space to spread out and relax around your room. You'll also have access to wonderful amenities at these properties and even a few extra perks, like
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours available exclusively to guests at Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts. In this category, I love
Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort for its variety of
dining options, access to the monorail, and close proximity to Magic Kingdom Park. I also really enjoy
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village if you're looking for a resort that really feels like you're getting away from it all. I could watch the animals roam the savanna around this property all day and also enjoy the
dining options here as well, which include Boma, Sanaa, and Jiko - The Cooking Place!
Anne, no matter where you choose to stay, I'd encourage you to check out the
current special offers as you may find a deal that works well for your family! If you have any other vacation planning questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney!
See ya real soon!
