Hiya, Kristi, and welcome to planDisney!
With your magical vacation less than I month away, I'm so glad you're here to talk transportation! It's one of those things that is so easy to overlook until you're standing in the Florida heat unsure of how exactly to reach your next destination. Happily, Walt Disney World Resort has
complimentary transportation for Guests that is not only convenient but fun as well, so let's hit the road to your question!
Once you're ready to head to Magic Kingdom Park after a fun-filled morning at Disney's Hollywood Studios (that hopefully involved a Cold Brew Black Caf and Slinky Dog Dash), you'll want to make your way to the Hollywood Studios Bus Depot and check the Directory Board for the Gate number of the
bus running directly between Disney's Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom Park. If you are like me and are always looking for an excuse to ride the
Walt Disney World Monorail, then you could also catch a bus to Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, or Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and finish the journey to Magic Kingdom Park aboard the Monorail.
Of course, sometimes I've been known to get a bit caught up in the magic and need immediate transportation to make it to my next destination in time for a Lighting Lane or dining reservation. When this happens, Disney's
Minnie Van Service is the answer! While it is not complimentary, it is usually the quickest way to reach your next destination. Combining the convenience of rideshare with the magic of Disney, Minnie Vans are requested through the Lyft app, but because they are operated by Cast Members, they are able to drop you off at the front entrance of Magic Kingdom Park instead of the Transportation and Ticket Center.
As a bonus tip: If you're ever unsure of how to reach your next Walt Disney World Resort destination, you can simply enter your next destination in the My Disney Experience app and tap 'Get Directions' to populate step-by-step directions that will help you efficiently reach your destination.
