Hi Mickey,
A visit to
Disney Springs for dinner and shopping is a fabulous way to cap a day at Hollywood Studios. If you are traveling from the park to Disney Springs at 4 p.m. or later, you will be able to hop on a complimentary Disney bus. The trip should only take about 15 minutes, depending on traffic. When I did this last about a month ago, the bus stop for Disney Springs was the same as the stop for Animal Kingdom.
If you are traveling earlier in the day, it's a little trickier. I would walk to Boardwalk, which will take you about 15 minutes, and catch the Disney Springs bus there. It should go directly from Boardwalk to Disney Springs.
You also could take a bus to Old Key West and then catch the water taxi. Or you could bus to
Saratoga Springs and get off at the Congress Park stop. From there, it's a short walk to the Marketplace area of Disney Springs. I have to say, though, that I often get confused by the bus stops in Saratoga Springs and have gotten off at the wrong stop and wandered aimlessly on more than one occasion. Either of these options would take more time than the direct bus or the Boardwalk bus.
There's so much new to see and do at Disney Springs. Morimoto Asia, Chef Art Smith's Homcomin' and Frontera Cocina are my favorite new table service restaurants, and I love the burgers at D-luxe Burgers. Looking for a scenic spot for an adult beverage? The
Coca-Cola Store Rooftop Beverage Bar, the dockside bar area at The Boathouse or Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar are my top spots.
Thanks for your question, Mickey. Please let us know if we can help with more recommendations or tips. Enjoy!
