Where are the best healthy places to eat at good prices? We have 4 kids (ages 5 - 16) and will be visiting Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. We won't have Hopper Tickets, but want to know if Downtown Disney is also available.

    Hi Robert!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

You can definitely visit Downtown Disney without a park ticket.  It is open to everybody and there are great places to eat there.  My favorite is Earl of Sandwich for Quick Service and Paradiso 37 for Table Service.  It is hard to know for certain what is the healthiest, but I think both of those places are worth checking out.

In the Magic Kingdom, I highly recommend the new Be Our Guest restaurant.  It is Quick Service for lunch and Table Service for dinner.  In Disney's Animal Kingdom, definitely check-out Flame Tree BBQ which is a Quick Service location.  In Disney's Hollywood Studios, I like Mama Melrose and the Hollywood Brown Derby.

If you want to see the menu, including prices, for all of the Quick Service and Table Service locations within Walt Disney World, I suggest visiting the independent website AllEars.Net.  Just click on Walt Disney World and then Dining from the main All Ears webpage.  It is a great resource!

Enjoy planning your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
