Hello and welcome to
planDisney, JoAnn. Thanks for stopping by to ask us your question.
I am thrilled to know you'll be spending your vacation at
Disney's BoardWalk Villas. I love the location of the resort! Being right between
EPCOT and
Disney's Hollywood Studios is so much fun. Great choice!
JoAnn, I often have groceries delivered to the Walt Disney World Resort Hotel that I happen to be staying at. It's so nice to have a few drinks and snacks on hand. I've used many delivery services over the years and have found that they are all pretty much the same. I personally think Instacart is a great app to use for ordering items while you are there. When you are ready to place your order, you'll go to the Instacart website or app and then type in the location where you'd like the delivery. Next, it will bring up a list of stores in that area that you can order from - typically I select Publix since it is my local grocery store as well. Then, you'll select your items and provide the delivery information.
I do want to mention that if you order items that require an i.d. check, you will have to be present when the delivery driver drops off your order. They'll need to verify your i.d. or they won't be able to leave those particular items. If you aren't there, they'll leave the rest of your order and give you a credit back on your account so it's not a big deal but if you really want those items like beer and wine then you'll need to select a delivery time when you can be present. If you aren't there, Bell Services will keep your groceries for you until you are back at the hotel. You can pick it up directly from them or you can head up to your room and request them to be delivered. There's a small fee for having the resort accept your delivery as well so that's why I recommend being there when it is delivered.
I hope this helps, JoAnn. If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me.
Have a magical time!
Jackie H.
