    What is the best way to get from the Grand Floridian to the Hoop Dee Doo Muscial at Ft. Wilderness? How much time do I need to allow?

    Hi Amy!

         You are going to have soon much fun at the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue!  Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue is my favorite Dinner Show because of the food, the fun, and the hilarious antics that go on there!  From my experience the quickest way to get from the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa to Pioneer Hall at Fort Wilderness Campground is to get on the Resort Monorail at the Grand Floridian.  Then at the Contemporary Resort get off the Resort Monorail and walk to the Contemporary Marina to get on a boat that is heading to Fort Wilderness Campground.  This boat will drop you off at the Fort Wilderness Campground Dock. Pioneer Hall, where the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue is located is just a short walk straight ahead from the dock.  This trip will take you anywhere from 45 to 60 minutes depending on how long you have to wait for a Monorail or a Boat to arrive.  You may be able to get there in 30 minutes if you catch everything just right, but I have learned to always plan for a little extra travel time so that you are not late for your reservation.
