What is the best way to go from Port Orleans-Riverside to Disney's Boardwalk for a breakfast?

    Hi Tammy,

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! I love early morning along Disney's BoardWalk. The resorts are just waking up and you can hear the horns of the Friendship Boats. It is one of my favorite places to be with a cup of coffee!

To head from Port Orleans Resort - Riverside to Disney's BoardWalk using Disney transportation, I would suggest that you start by taking a bus from Port Orleans Resort - Riverside to Disney's Hollywood Studios. From Disney's Hollywood Studios, you do not need to enter the theme park, you can simply head to the boat dock and take a boat to Disney's BoardWalk. You can also walk this peaceful journey from Disney's Hollywood Studios to Disney's BoardWalk; however, it is not a short walk - it would probably take 15 - 20 minutes for the walk. Do be sure overall to leave yourself enough travel time as well. To be safe, I would leave 90 minutes in total from Disney's Port Orleans Riverside to Disney's BoardWalk. It could of course take much less time, but then you can simply enjoy Disney's BoardWalk while you wait!

Since I am not sure when your trip is, do also keep an eye on the new Minnie Van Service that Walt Disney World is rolling out. This service will be able to take guests directly from one point to another at Walt Disney World. Although Minnie Vans are not currently operating from Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, you could check in the lobby to see if they are by the time you are on vacation. Also, they are operating from Disney's BoardWalk, so may be a good option for you when you leave breakfast!

Please do let us know if you have any further questions, Tammy!
