    What is the best way to go from PO-FQ to Boma for 7 PM reservs on 8/17? Not sure where the best "transfer station" is since I know we can't go direct from resort. Thanks!

    Hi Meridith,

    Excellent choice on both Disney's Port Orleans - French Quarter and Boma for dinner! My suggestion is to leave your Resort Hotel 1.5 to 2 hours ahead of time and travel by bus to Disney's Hollywood Studios. From there, transfer to a Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge bus. In my experience, the total travel time is approximately 45 minutes, however you'll want to wander about the resort and view the animals overlooking the breathtaking savanna. The travel time might be longer than dining at any other Resort Hotel, but well worth the effort for the overall experience. 

    You can even stay a bit longer after dinner to enjoy African storytelling around a bonfire, or utilize their night-vision goggles to spot the wildlife out on the savanna. Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is such a treasure!

    As a side note, taxis are always available at any of the Disney Resort Hotels for a nominal cost ($15-$20 on average.) If you decide to stay late and do not wish to transfer buses, simply allow the friendly Cast Members to hail you a taxi in a matter of minutes.
