What is the best way to go from grand Floridian to the boardwalk

    Hi Michelle,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Luckily, there are a few transportation options to get from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to Disney's BoardWalk area. First, I suggest that you take the bus to Disney's Hollywood Studios and then walk or boat to the BoardWalk area. Second, you could use the Resort Monorail to get to Magic Kingdom and then from there, take Disney Bus Transportation to Disney's BoardWalk Inn. From there, it is an easy walk to the BoardWalk area with entertainment and dining options. Third, you could take Water Transportation from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to Magic Kingdom and then take a bus to Disney's BoardWalk Inn.

We also take advantage of other transportation options. Last summer we used the Disney Minnie Van™ Service. Our rides were fantastic and we loved the direct transportation. Or, we have used other ride services like Uber and Lyft. Minnie Van™ service, Uber and Lyft are all great options when we are pressed for time or when we are trying to get to pre-park opening dining reservations.

Michelle, I trust you will enjoy your time on the BoardWalk. We stayed at Disney's BoardWalk Inn last summer and it was perfect. Remember to download the My Disney Experience Mobile App. It has a nice "Get Directions" feature that provides transit options and estimated transit times!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
