What is the best way to go about booking with a placeholder from a previous cruise on a new cruise?

    Ahoy there, Danielle!

I am so happy that you sailed back to planDisney, this time with your placeholder question! I love that you're already thinking about booking another Disney Cruise because, let's be honest, there is nothing quite like hearing that iconic Disney Cruise Line horn as the ship pulls away from port after the Sail Away Party. In fact, I was looking at future Halloween on the High Seas itineraries using my own placeholder.

So, Danielle, let's sail right into your question. There are two easy ways to apply your Disney Cruise Line placeholder reservation.

The first option is to do it directly online. Start by logging into your Disney Cruise Line account and selecting "My Reservations." From there, locate your placeholder reservation under "Future Cruise Placeholders." If you have multiple reservations, use the "Reservations" drop-down menu to find your placeholder.

Once you've selected your placeholder, click "Search All Cruises." At the top of the page, you'll see your original placeholder reservation and be prompted to select your party size. After confirming your travel party, you'll be able to browse eligible itineraries. Look for the "Special Rates for Placeholder" banner at the top of the page and the "Placeholder Offer" icon on eligible sailings. Once you've found your cruise, complete the booking process, and there you have it, you will be bibbidi bobbidi booked using your placeholder!

Your second option is to contact Disney Cruise Line directly. A friendly Cast Member will be happy to assist you with applying your placeholder, answering any questions, and helping you find the sailing that best fits your family's plans.

Danielle, I hope this helps answer your questions. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to visit us again.

    See ya real soon,
