What are the best "garden view" rooms at the Polynesian? I have a family of six (2rooms) we are going to Disney for the first time and spending a small fortune - want to make sure I have good rooms with good location-not too far away

    Hi, Katherine!

The Polynesian is one of my very favorite resorts.   With its swaying palm trees by day and flaming tiki torches by night, you might just never want to leave this beautiful place!

My family likes to stay in Rarotonga.   It is a garden view building right next to the Great Ceremonial House. This building is super close to the restaurants and monorail, with just a short walk to the Volcano Pool.  Although it is close to the center of the action, I find this building to be very quiet.  We like the rooms that face the monorail so we do not have any foot traffic outside our room and it is so fun to look out your patio door and see the monorail zooming past!

In the evenings, make sure to grab a cold beverage and head to the beach for amazing views of the Magic Kingdom fireworks and watch as the Electric Water Pageant glides by your resort.   You and your family will be creating memories to last a lifetime!  Have a wonderful vacation.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
