Hi, Rebecca! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Hooray for early planning and saving for a most magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort with your best friend! As a budget conscious momma, I applaud your efforts on getting a head start planning your budget and setting aside those magical Disney Dollars. You’ll be so glad you did once you are there enjoying the magic without worrying about your wallet.
Rebecca, I just learned that the
Disney Vacation Account is being discontinued. But like Timon and Pumbaa would say, Hakuna Matata! No worries. There are other creative ways to put money aside for your Disney vacation! Have you thought about purchasing
Disney Gift Cards? This is a great way to start setting funds to the side, and you can use them for pretty much anything Disney. You can also get them at a discounted rate at select big box stores. So be sure to do some research before buying so you can get the best bang for your magical Disney bucks!
Another idea would be to go ahead and make an early reservation. You can do so with a deposit and call in to make payments along the way.
If you book a room only reservation to get you started, your deposit will be the cost or your first night’s stay and full payment will be due upon check-in. If you book a
Magic Your Way Vacation Package, full payment will be due 30-days prior to check-in.
I hope this helped answer your question. Good luck saving and planning for your upcoming enchanted vacation to
the place where the magic is endless. Please come back and see us again real soon!
