My best friend and I are planning on visiting Disney World to celebrate her moving back home! What suggestions would y’all have to make our experience have the famous Disney magic?

Thanks for checking back in with us here at planDisney, Molly. We’re so happy to hear that your best friend is back in town and that the two of you are going to be celebrating Disney style!

Let’s start with your accommodations, shall we? I’d recommend that you stay in the magic by choosing a hotel from the Disney Resorts Collection. There are options at a wide variety of price points, each with unique theming and details that will inspire pixie-dusted days and enchanted evenings.

When it comes to touring, it’s a great idea to go into your vacation with an idea of park priorities. I love how the Tickets and Visits Guide walks Guests through some basic trip planning tips that will help you build an itinerary. You can learn more about what each park offers, special events and even length of stay recommendations.

Of course, no trip is complete without considering dining options. Some of my favorite restaurants for packing a magical punch are Be Our Guest Restaurant, Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant and Garden Grill Restaurant. Each of those locations offers something delightfully unique. It’s important to make your dining reservations as early in your planning process as is possible, up to 60 days in advance.

Lastly, choosing an option from the Enchanted Extras Collection will really seal the deal on making magical memories that will last a lifetime. I can’t wait for you and your BFF to experience this special vacation, Molly. Have a great time!

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists.
