I'm so sorry to hear that you're feeling under the weather. I know it's a bummer missing your trip to The Happiest Place on Earth, but Mickey and all his pals will be waiting to welcome you back once you're feeling back to your magical self! In the meantime, let's not let that ticket go to waste.
The great news, Kim, is that this is a pretty easy fix. In fact, there is really no fix at all. Your
ticket can be used by a friend at any time, as the name listed on the ticket doesn't actually matter when entering the parks. Once you arrive at the turnstiles, a friendly Cast Member will scan your ticket, take a quick photo and assign the ticket to that photo for the duration of its ticket length. This means that even if a ticket is in someone else's name, any Guest can use it, as long as it is assigned to the correct age.
For planning purposes, many Guests find it easier to make sure all the tickets are actually listed under the correct names. This may make
Disney Genie+ selections a bit easier to make and avoids any confusion for those traveling in larger groups. Luckily, changing the name on a ticket just takes a simple phone call. A Cast Member at the
Ticket Services Line can wave their wand and have this fixed as fast as you can say "Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!"
