My best friend was born in 1955. Her birthday is coming up next month. She LOVES everything Disney. We live in Sacramento,Ca. I’m stumped as what to get her for her special 65th birthday. She’s like a sister to me. Please send some ideas!

Hiya, Debbie, and thanks for bringing your pixie-dusted question to planDisney!

Your best friend is so lucky to share her 65th birthday year with the Disneyland Resort! Even though the Resort is undergoing a phased reopening, there are still plenty of ways to bring some Disney magic into her life right now.

For starters, I want to highlight some of my favorite 65th Anniversary finds on shopDisney.com. First, how cute is this 65th Anniversary Ornament?! What a fun way to commemorate her special birthday with the anniversary of her happy place, too. Another fun anniversary find is this Sleeping Beauty Castle Tank Top, which I recently saw at World of Disney in Downtown Disney District -- I loved the super-soft material!

I have a feeling your friend’s home also reflects her love for Disney, so why not splurge on this vintage Disneyland Wall Sign, which is a replica of Disneyland Resort’s classic Main Entrance marquee!

Perhaps my favorite part of shopDisney.com is the women’s jewelry section, where some amazing birthday gifts can be found. First off, how beautiful are these brand-new Rebecca Hook Mickey Mouse Rose Gold Oval Earrings?! They’re even presented in a beautiful Rebecca Hook box. My other favorite pieces from this collection include this Mickey Mouse Rose Gold Square Ring, and this Minnie Mouse Flower Icon Necklace. You simply can’t go wrong with any of these gorgeous pieces!

Last but not least, if you’re up for a drive, you can bring the taste of Disneyland Resort to your BFF on her special day! If your friend is craving Churro Toffee, a Minnie Mouse Candy Apple, or any other sweet Disney Parks treats, I recommend stopping by Marceline’s Confectionery at Downtown Disney District. Be sure to arrive before noon for your best chance at nabbing the oh-so-popular Churro Toffee! Don’t forget to ask for a complimentary birthday button at checkout, too!

I sure hope these ideas help your friend have the best 65th birthday possible, Debbie! I can’t wait until she can return to the parks to celebrate all over again!

Sending loads of pixie dust and birthday wishes your way!

My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A.
