Best way to get my family of 10 from the Little Mermaid area to Chef Mickeys for breakfast.

    Hi, there!

Sumner, I'm so excited to hear about your upcoming vacation. It's going to be an Incredible Summer at the Walt Disney World Resort! My family will be visiting this summer too, and we are counting down the days.

We never miss an opportunity to visit Mickey Mouse and his pals at Chef Mickey's, so I'm very happy to answer your question! I believe you're referring to the Little Mermaid section of Disney's Art of Animation Resort. You've got a few options. For totally free transportation, board a bus for Magic Kingdom Park (the bus stop is located just outside Animation Hall). Once you arrive at Magic Kingdom Park, hop onto the Resort monorail to head to Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort. Officially, bus service starts about 45 minutes prior to park opening, and monorail service starts 30 minutes prior to the earliest park opening. It's recommended that you allow 60 minutes for traveling on Walt Disney World Resort property, so keep that in mind.

Another option is Disney's new Minnie Van Service; the cutest and most convenient way to travel at the Walt Disney World Resort! Each vehicle can accommodate up to 6 Guests, so you could request two using the Lyft app. This is a paid service, but you may find the convenience of transporting 10 people to be well worth the price.

Sumner, my family has also used Uber to get to our advanced dining reservations. It's been easy and inexpensive!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Please visit us again soon!
