    Which is the best excursion in Juneau, Alaska? We have ages ranging from 2-7; 11; and 38-68. Thank you!

    Great to hear that you are preparing for such a wonderful Alaskan voyage. The sights and sounds that our family experienced in Alaska were breathtaking and very memorable. It's such a special treat for the whole family to be able to share this adventure. 

    Our family enjoyed the Best of Juneau port adventure while we were docked in Juneau. As you'll see from the description of this port adventure, it is open for family members of all ages. I liked the fact that It allowed us a mix of different activities in 1 day. We all learned a lot from this excursion, since we had naturalists with us on the catamaran when we went whale watching. We had tons of pictures with glaciers in the background and it's pretty fascinating to hear about sea life in the final frontier. We also enjoyed locally caught salmon for lunch (I prefer excursions that include lunch... one less thing to worry about). And seeing Mendenhall Glacier up close and seeing the interactive exhibit there was interesting for everyone in the family.
