Hi Deborah!
A budget friendly resort is the way to go because then you have more to spend on Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars!
Let's look at what
Disney Value Resorts have to offer.
If one of the children is three or under and able to sleep in a Pack-n-Play, then two rooms at
Disney's All-Star Movies Resort will work. Fun theming, the Fantasia Pool, and a large food court make this hotel a good pick for families. The rooms offer a queen bed and a pull down queen, a coffee maker, and a dorm size refrigerator. The All-Star standard rooms are your most economical choice.
If you feel a standard room will be a bit tight or all the children are too big for a crib, consider Family Suites at
Disney's All-Star Music Resort which reopens on September 16th. A separate bedroom with a double, two pull down doubles in the living area, a kitchenette, and two bathrooms offer more space and comfort. When you are trying to get out the door to arrive at a theme park for opening, an extra bathroom helps ease the morning rush.
The whimsical, vibrant
Disney's Art of Animation Resort is a step up from the All-Stars. The
Big Blue Pool,
Disney Skyliner access, excellent theming, and larger rooms also make this hotel a great choice for families. This resort offers standard rooms (2 doubles) and Family Suites (1 queen,1 pull down,1 pull out couch).
Wishing you all sweet, pixie dusted dreams during your visit!
Elisabeth
