Welcome to planDisney, Rashid!
I’m delighted to discuss ways to help make your trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth feel cost-efficient!
First and foremost, I recommend checking out the
Special Offers page to see if any deals pertain to you. Another great option would be a
Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Package with theme park tickets and a Disney Resorts Collection stay. With a Vacation Package, Guests would only have to put down a deposit of $200 and can pay off the balance in any increments you like until the final payment due date, which would be 30 days before you are set to arrive. I like to think of it as a payment plan; if you book your trip a year away, you’ll have a good while to pay off the balance monthly.
I would also recommend purchasing standard
theme park tickets and focusing on one park per day rather than adding the
Park Hopper Option to visit multiple parks per day. The price for base tickets is lower, and there’s plenty to do and see in each theme park. Another helpful tip regarding ticket pricing would be to travel during a slower period rather than during holidays. Theme Park ticket prices increase during the holidays and decrease during off-peak season.
As far as
Disney Resorts Collection hotels go, there are plenty to choose from for all budgets types! For instance,
Value Resort Hotels offer onsite accommodations at a reasonable price. And sometimes, staying at a
Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotel fits the budget!
Another great way to stay on budget is using Disney Gift Cards. If you create an account on the
Disney Gift Card website, you can combine them into one, up to $1000. I like to allocate mine into different categories, such as Souvenirs, Dining, etc.
Staying hydrated during your trip is extremely important. Rather than purchasing water bottles at the theme parks, most Quick-Service dining locations offer free water in cups to Guests. All you have to do is ask!
Another great tip would be to eat a big breakfast on your own. If you fill up before leaving to the theme parks, you’re not spending more money on dining than you need to. A friend of mine with small Mouseketeers also likes to watch
shopDisney for their on-sale items throughout the year. Once her family is on their trip, she gives her Mouseketeers their “souvenirs” that she purchased far in advance at a reasonable cost, so they’re spending less while at the parks.
We can't wait to welcome you to the magic, Rashid!
