What is the best way to get from Disney's Art of Animation to Hollywood Studios?

Hey there, Ryan. Thanks for visiting us here at planDisney with your question!

Disney's Art of Animation Resort is a really fun place to stay and offers a variety of different transportation options depending on where you'd like to go. To get to Disney's Hollywood Studios from Disney's Art of Animation Resort, you have two complementary options. You can take a bus to the theme park or fly high in the sky on a gondola using the Disney Skyliner. Transportation to the theme parks starts running about 45 minutes prior to the scheduled park opening time and continues running up to two hours after the park closes in the evenings. If those options don't work for you and you don't have a personal vehicle, you can also use a ride-share service to get you there. The ride-share companies are allowed to pick you up right outside of your resort's lobby and can take you pretty much to the main entrance of the theme park.

If you haven't yet had the opportunity to experience riding on the Disney Skyliner, I highly encourage you to try it out. These aerial gondolas give you a birds-eye view of the Walt Disney World Resort while whisking you off to your destination. The Disney Skyliner services Disney's Art of Animation Resort, Disney's Pop Century Resort, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney's Riviera Resort, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot. One of my favorite parts about taking a ride on the Disney Skyliner is the fun facts and Disney trivia that comes on over the speaker while onboard.

I hope this helps get you to your destination with ease, Ryan. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask me. I'm here to help.

    Have a great day!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
