Hiya, Derrick! Welcome back to planDisney!
Hot dog! It looks like your visit to
The Most Magical Place on Earth is just a few short days away, Derrick. Let’s hop right into your question to get you all set up for your visit!
Each park has so much to offer kids and kids at heart alike. At Magic Kingdom Park, you have classic attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion, and thrills such as TRON / Lightcycle Run and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. There are also several character meet and greets, like
Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater. For entertainment, you have great offerings such as the
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade and
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away nighttime parade. Both are fantastic! And of course, the perfect way to wrap up any day at Magic Kingdom is with
Happily Ever After.
At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is a must-do! You also have great attractions like Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway and Star Tours – The Adventures Continue, as well as thrill attractions like the newly reopened Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. You can meet characters here as well, and the Green Army Drum Corps is definitely worth checking out! You can usually see them in Toy Story Land on the hour between 10 AM and 4 PM, although times are always subject to change. I also highly recommend finishing the evening with
Fantasmic! At EPCOT, you have Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and Frozen Ever After, and classic attractions like Spaceship Earth and Soarin’, which currently has a special overlay named Soarin’ Across America to celebrate America's 250th birthday. It’s also home to my favorite attraction in Walt Disney World at the moment, which is Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. I also highly recommend strolling around the World Showcase to explore each pavilion. L’Artisan des Glaces in the France pavilion is the perfect place to stop for a cool treat on a hot summer afternoon! And a great way to wrap up the day is with
Luminous The Symphony of Us.
And last but not least, Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The attraction I wouldn't miss in this park is Avatar Flight of Passage. Other great attractions are Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, Kilimanjaro Safaris, and Na’vi River Journey. My favorite show at Walt Disney World is Festival of the Lion King. It’s visually stunning and features incredible acrobatics and music! If you have a Bluey fan, you can now head to Bluey's Wild World at Conservation Station. Hop aboard the Wildlife Express Train and get ready for an adventure!
There are so many great offerings all across Walt Disney World Resort for
Cool KIDS SUMMER, Derrick. I’m convinced that you’ll have an absolutely magical time! If you have any other questions in the next few days, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us here at
planDisney. We’re always happy to help!
See you real soon!
