What is the best way to get from a Disney World resort (Saratoga Springs) to Port Canaveral for the Disney cruise and then to Orlando aiport after thr cruise ends?

    Hi there, Jennifer!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  It appEARs that your Land and Sea adventure is right around the corner!!!  How excited are you?!?!  Walt Disney World Resort…a Disney Cruise Line vacation…AND Castaway Cay…what a vacation you have planned!  After some busy days in the theme parks I am sure you will thoroughly enjoy some relaxing days onboard…or you may find so many things to do that you will continue to go non-stop!

The easiest option for transportation from your Walt Disney World Resort hotel to Port Canaveral for your voyage and then to Orlando International Airport at the end of your vacation is to book ground transportation through Disney Cruise Line.  They will seamlessly get you from one location to another making everything easy for you!  While pricing is always subject to change without notice, current pricing for a one-way transfer is $39/person (ages 3 and up).  Ground transportation needs to be booked at least three days prior to your voyage and you can do this by contacting Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 or your travel agent to add this option to your reservation.  Another option you have is to book transportation with a private car service.  There are a number of local companies that offer this common transfer, so you may want to contact a few for current pricing and availability.  If you opt for this, I do recommend booking with a company that offers a set rate instead of one that charges by the mile or minute.  Often you can book a round trip transfer and arrange it so that a driver is waiting for you when you disembark the ship on the final day to take you directly to the airport.

Wishing you a magical adventure with many memories made on land AND at sea!

    Happy Sailing!
