What is the best way to use our Disney Visa Rewards dollars when booking a Disney Resort hotel room? Should we put them on the redemption card first, or is there a different way to do it?

    Welcome to planDisney Scott!

I love to shop. I love Disney. So, the fact I can save for my next Disney trip while I shop is a real bonus! I save up my Disney Reward dollars each year to purchase my Annual Pass, but the dollars can be used anywhere credit cards are accepted around the Disney Parks, or even to pay for your Disney Cruise!

If you would like to use your Disney Reward Dollars from your Chase Disney Visa, you can do so during the check-out process online. It will ask how you want to pay for your room reservation, Theme Park Tickets, etc, and you can choose Reward Dollars. If you do not have enough to cover the amount, you can add a second form of payment.

You are also able to bring your Disney Rewards Redemption Card with you on your vacation and use the available balance towards dining, shopping, or to pay for your room charges. Do whatever is easiest for you!

Have fun saving while you shop with your Disney Visa card!

My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
