Hi, there!
Oh, Amanda, I'm just thrilled to hear about the vacation you're planning this January. My 1-year old just made her first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort this summer, and it was positively magical! You are sure to have a magical visit too.
You'll be pleased to know that there are lots of things your little one can experience at the theme parks. Most
attractions are family-friendly, meaning that they are suitable for all ages and don't have a height requirement. At just a year old, my kids especially loved attractions with smooth, gentle tracks like Peter Pan's Flight and The Seas with Nemo & Friends. They also loved boat ride attractions like "it's a small world" and Frozen Ever After. Dumbo the Flying Elephant and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh feature interactive queues which give little ones a place to toddle and play, making the wait to ride actually fun!
The Walt Disney World Resort has THE best
entertainment options for little ones. Take your 1-year old to the all-new Disney Junior Dance Party! for some interactive fun with Doc McStuffins, Vampirina, Timon, and Mickey Mouse. Festival of the Lion King is another must-see!
My 1-year old doesn't have enough hair on her little head for a trim quite yet, but when my son was 14-months old, he had an appointment at
Harmony Barber Shop for his first haircut. With commemorative Mickey Ears and a certificate, the My First Haircut package is just precious! I highly recommend this unique experience.
Thanks for stopping by. Please let me know if you have any other questions!
