What the best dinner or dinner show for 2-3 year olds?

    Hi Rachel!

Thanks for writing.  In my opinion, Mickey's Backyard BBQ is, hands down, your best dinner show option with a toddler and pre-schooler in tow.  This western-themed event is held in an open air pavilion at Fort Wilderness Campground.  You will dine at an all-you-care-to-eat BBQ buffet filled with kid (and adult) friendly options and then enjoy a live country-western band as you wait for some of your Disney favorites to come join you and your kids on the dance floor, including:
    • Mickey Mouse
    • Minnie Mouse
    • Goofy
    • Chip 'n Dale
This event is held seasonally and characters are subject to change.  I have many classic family photos of my kids dancing along side their Disney icons that I adore.

If you prefer a classic character meal, my all time favorite is Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort.  Here, you will enjoy a wonderful buffet breakfast or dinner with Chef Mickey and his culinary pals.  It is a great choice for dinner if you are planning an evening visit to Magic Kingdom, as you can simply hop on the monorail right after your dinner an within moments, will be on Main Street U.S.A.

I hope you have a magical trip!
