What would be the best deluxe resort for a famliy of 4 with a 10 year-old boy and 16 year-old girl?

    Hi G,

I checked with my 10  year old son and his top 2 recommendations (based on experience) are either the Grand Floridian or the Beach Club. My oldest daughters favorite place when she was 16 was also the Beach Club.

The Grand Floridian has the monorail, which is a fun bonus. In addition, my son liked when we rented the Sea Raycer boats. Even though he wasn't old enough to drive, he still had a blast. It is a spectacular Resort and if you have a Magic Kingdom view room (like we did), you can watch the Electrical Water Pageant go by at night as well as enjoy the fireworks off your balcony.

The Yacht and Beach Clubs have, "Stormalong Bay". This incredible 3-acre, sand-bottom pool is by far the best Resort pool on property. It has a slide that comes out of the mast of a ship, has a lazy river, whirling waters and more. My daughter loved sun-bathing by the pool. In addition, the Boardwalk area is fantastic. You can walk to Epcot and are a short boat ride over to Hollywood Studios. This is my favorite location at all of Disney World.

I recommend you check out both of these Resorts and see which one appeals the most to your family.

    Have a wonderful vacation,
