What are the best decorated resort restaurants to visit during the Christmas season?

Welcome to the Moms Panel Coleen!  We're super glad you're hEAR!

I love all of the holiday decorations at Disney World! Everything is so festive including Downtown Disney. Last year, I found some cute statutes tucked in a corner behind Disney's Days of Christmas near the Bus Station.

Visiting the deluxe resorts to see their decorations is one of my favorite things to do.  Each resort features unique decorations that compliments the theming of that resort.  A lot of thought and creativity goes into the details so be sure to pay attention to them.  For example, at the Yacht Club, their tree features boats and other nautical ornaments.

The Walt Disney World Food & Beverage Team puts together some amazing displays made from edible ingredients.  Although no nibbling is allowed, here are some that I'd recommend you check out:

    * BoardWalk Inn - Look for the Holiday Gazebo in the lobby. Look for Hidden Mickeys in the scene.  You'll also find Stitch's Bakery Store Front where they sell some yummy treats.

    * Contemporary Resort - On the 4th floor in the Grand Canyon Concourse, you'll find a 17 ft Gingerbread Holiday Tree. Also look for the Gingerbread House complete with a chocolate monorail riding through it.  How cool is that?!

    * Grand Floridian - You won't want to miss the 16 ft Gingerbread House in the lobby.  They sell awesome treats that you can purchase from a window in the house.

    * Beach Club Resort - The life-size Holiday Carousel in the lobby is my favorite. Did I mention it spins?

    * Yacht Club - Look for the Holiday Village with a miniature train in the lobby.

Please let us know if you have any other questions during your planning. We love sprinkling pixie dust for guests planning their trips!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
