When is the best days to visit each park for September 2019?

Hi, Christina! One of the first things I do during the planning stages is to pick out a park to visit each day. Instead of focusing on which days may be better for each park, I look for any special factors that may influence my decision, Extra Magic Hours and special events specifically. Be sure to take a look at the hours as they are posted so you can get an idea of which parks host Extra Magic Hours each morning and/or evening. If you are not eligible for Extra Magic Hours (for Resort hotel guest only), then you may want to pick a different park to visit that day. You will also want to look at the schedule for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. If you are not attending one of the parties and would rather spend a full day there, then choose to visit Magic Kingdom Park on a day when the party is not held. However, if you have the Park Hopper option on your Disney Theme Park Tickets, I find visiting Magic Kingdom Park the morning it has an evening party to be a great choice, as the park tends to be a bit slower that morning.

The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival will be in full swing, so I do recommend you visit Epcot on a weekday. The weekends are usually so busy with locals visiting for the festival. This is my favorite event of the year, so visiting on a weekday helps us make the most of our time.

Disney's Hollywood Studios will be a popular place to be this fall, as Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge will be opening at the end of August. This does mean that specific park will be quite crowded during your trip. I suspect there will not be any specific "best day" to visit that park for a while!

My best planning advice for you is to arrive before park opening each day, so you can make the most of the first few hours at the park before larger crowds arrive. Also, make FastPass+ selections for each day to help you experience your favorite attractions!
