Which are the best counter service restaurants in the parks to take be able to eat and take a relaxing break from the heat? Basically, I'm trying to figure out which ones have indoor, air-conditioned seating areas?

    Hi JoAnne,

Most quick service restaurants inside of  Magic Kingdom are air-conditioned.  My favorite for nice breaks are Columbia Harbour House (Liberty Square) and Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn &Cafe (Frontierland).  Columbia Harbour House is great for sandwiches and salads, but if you're looking for a great burger; Pecos Bill is the best and offers a free fixin's bar with grilled mushrooms, onions, and the usual burger toppings.

At Epcot, my favorite for a long air-conditioned break is Liberty Inn at the American Adventure Pavilion.  All American favorites such as hot dogs, burgers and salads.

At Hollywood Studios, when I'm looking for air-conditioning and variety, it's the ABC Commissary, or Pizza Planet for the kids.

Finally, at Animal Kingdom, indoor quick service is limited.  You can choose either Pizzafari or Restaurantosaurus for an air-conditioned break.

Hope this helps!  Have a wonderful vacation!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
