    What would be the best way to get from Coronado Springs resort to the California Grill restaurant for reservations on our first day?

    Wow, Dedra! You just mentioned two of my favorites in one question! Coronado Springs Resort - Gran Destino Tower is one of my favorite resorts to call home during my visits to the Walt Disney World Resort! And, California Grill, atop Disney’s Contemporary Resort, is one of my favorite Disney Dining destinations! Excellent choices!

    Your question is the sign of a good planner! When planning your visit, knowing how to get from point A to point B is of great importance! I recommend boarding a Disney Transportation bus from Coronado Springs Resort to Magic Kingdom Park. Once you arrive at Magic Kingdom Park, you can make the short walk to Disney’s Contemporary Resort or you can board the Monorail for a very short ride to the resort! Once you arrive at the resort, you’ll take the elevator dedicated for the California Grill! This elevator will whisk you up to the top of the resort where you will enjoy an amazing meal with an equally amazing view! While you are there, visit the observation platform and enjoy the surrounding view! You’ll be amazed at how much you’ll see!
