What is the best way to get from the Contemporary resort to the Boardwalk area?

Hey, Barbara! Thanks for popping over to planDisney with your transportation question.

Disney's Contemporary Resort is one of my favorite hotels at Walt Disney World! What could be more magical than being steps away from Magic Kingdom, watching the Resort Monorail travel through the hotel lobby, or taking in the Electrical Water Pageant out on the shores of Bay Lake?

If you're looking to travel from Disney's Contemporary Resort to Disney's BoardWalk, you have a few options. First, you could consider taking a Minnie Van™ Connected by Lyft for the most direct route to the boardwalk area. Open the Lyft app on your smartphone, enter your destination, and confirm your pickup location. Then tap "Select Minnie Van" and you'll be able to track your incoming ride on the map and identify it with a vehicle number once it arrives.

For complimentary transportation, you could take a short stroll toward Magic Kingdom and hop on a bus headed for Disney's BoardWalk Inn. Check the bus stop sign to find the gate that will whisk you away to your seaside stroll on Crescent Lake. When you arrive at your destination, follow the breezeway up to the hotel lobby, walk straight through the seating area and out the doors and you'll see the boardwalk area just beyond the large green activity lawn.

Barbara, you're sure to have a wonderful time on the quarter-mile boardwalk that has fabulous dining and stunning entertainment! My family loved the LED jump rope performers and magician when we visited, and there's always something new to see and do! Stay magical,
    Scott
