Hi there, Alyssa!
Thanks so much for stopping back by the Moms Panel with your question! I'm so glad that you are finding useful information for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!
My very favorite transportation tool is called the Transportation Wizard. You can find it at OurLaughingPlace.com. When you get to their site, you'll see the Transportation Wizard link in the upper right-hand corner of your screen. You can select just about any to and from location from all around Walt Disney World property and the wizard will give you all the possibilities including how long each option will take. I absolutely LOVE it! As a matter of fact, I have it book-marked on my smartphone so I can use it while I'm in the Parks if I need to!
As you know, Disney buses do not travel from one Resort hotel to another. Your best bet to travel from Disney's Contemporary Resort to
Disney's BoardWalk is going to be to either walk or catch the monorail over to Magic Kingdom Park. From there, you can take a bus directly to the Boardwalk Inn!
There are so many fun things to do at the BoardWalk area! You can have breakfast at the fabulous
BoardWalk Bakery, check out the
ESPN Club, and I'm certain that your kiddos will love riding on a rented Surrey bike built for 4 along the water's edge! What a great way to spend a few hours in the morning! The BoardWalk is just a short walk from Epcot or you could take a boat over to Disney's Hollywood Studios for the afternoon!
I hope that helps, Alyssa! Please let us know if we can assist you with any other questions you have!
Have a Pixie Dusted vacation!
