What is the best way to confirm for sure that the pool is closed during out stay at All Star Sports Resort? I read it in the MouseSaver.com bulletin but want to confirm before I look at changing my hotel.

    Hi Angela!

Congratulations on  your Walt Disney World vacation, I'm sure you're busy with last minute details as it's just around the corner.  Mousesavers.com, allearsnet.com and wdwinfo.com are all really good places to check for the latest closures and refurbishments that might be happening during your stay.  Disney releases it closure and refurbishment schedule to general media and business related companies, so these websites have a fairly reliable source.  I did double check and the Surfboard Bay Pool will be closed for refurbishment on 2/25/2013-3/6/2013.  Certain attractions, especially pools and water parks, undergo refurbishment during the cooler slower times of the year in order to prepare for the spring break and summer crowds.  I would suggest calling All Star Resort  at 407-939-5000 to double check for your dates in case you need to reschedule.  Remember there is also a Grand Slam Pool that is located in the baseball section of the resort.  Thank you for visiting us at The Moms Panel, please let us know if you have anymore questions.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
