    What is the best way to collect character autographs? Should we buy a book, make one or have them sign something else?

    Hi, Thomas!   Collecting autographs at Disney World is a lot of fun!   When you enter a theme park, check the Times Guide for meet and greet times and locations so you can meet all your favorite Disney pals!

    Here are some ideas for collecting signatures:

    -Autograph Books are available for sale just about anywhere throughout WDW.  Costs range from about $7 - $12 depending on style.

    -Bring a photo mat from home.    Have the characters sign it, then you can insert a favorite Disney picture when you get home.   I would suggest a mat that fits an 8x10 or larger photo. 

    -If it is a birthday, anniversary, or other special occasion, bring a large greeting card that fits your celebration.   This becomes a great reminder of your trip and special occasion signed by all your new Disney friends.

    -Characters will sign T-shirts or hats, but you cannot be wearing them!   

    -I've seen characters signing storybooks.  This is very cute and each time your child reads his or her favorite stories, they'll see their pals' autographs!

    -My son had the characters sign his favorite Disney Travel Guidebooks (we like Guide to the Magic for Kids and Complete Idiot's Guide to WDW.)

    -My daughter likes to take a spiral notebook from home.   She decorates the cover ahead of time with stickers and markers.    There are plenty of pages for her to add journaling and draw pictures along with the characters' autographs.   She also adds in pictures that she takes making it an entire scrapbook of her vacation. 

    Whatever you decide, have fun meeting Mickey, Minnie, and all their friends!
