Hi Saraih,
Your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation is already in sight! You will LOVE every memorable moment of it!
I suggest you dress comfortably. It is absolutely imperative to wear good walking shoes. Also do check the local weather report before leaving for the parks each day. Shorts and t-shirts are perfectly acceptable attire. However, I would also bring a lightweight jacket (or hoodie) for those cooler early mornings and late evenings. Casual sundresses are very appropriate too. Keep in mind that the theme parks are a family-oriented environment, so please use your discretion and common sense. Below you'll find a list of clothing items that are
not appropriate to wear to the theme parks:
- Costumes may not be worn by Guests 14 years of age or older
- Masks may not be worn by Guests 14 years of age or older (unless they are for medical purposes)
- Clothing with objectionable material, including obscene language or graphics
- Excessively torn clothing
- Clothing which, by nature, exposes excessive portions of the skin that may be viewed as inappropriate for a family environment
- Clothing items with multiple layers are subject to search upon entry
- Objectionable tattoos
Disney Mom Tip: Do pack one pair of strappy sandals, a dress, a nice skirt or a pair of Capri pants to go with a dressier shirt. If you visit one of the fabulous
Disney Fine/Signature Dining locations, you will need to adhere to a specific dress code. There are also numerous bars and lounges throughout the Walt Disney World Resort, and you just might want to dress up a bit for those too.
Wishing you a most
unforgettable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
