We're so glad to be of assistance to you as you plan for a magical vacation, Bonnie.  Thank you for reading our site!

As for looking for healthy dining options, I can totally relate.  My family eats a diet of whole, mostly organic foods at home and so we're always on the lookout for healthy fare when we visit Walt Disney World.  The good news is that most all of the quick-service locations offer at least one healthy choice.  At Animal Kingdom, I like the fruit plate at Flame Tree Barbecue.  The smoked chicken salad there is another great option.  At Epcot, Sunshine Seasons offers the most plentiful choices.  They offer a roasted beet and goat cheese salad as well as grilled salmon and various soups.  At Hollywood Studios, I like Starring Rolls.  They have a small selection of sandwiches and sushi, too.  Another option there is the ABC Commissary and I'm partial to the couscous, quinoa and arugula salad.  Magic Kingdom's Columbia Harbour House offers a broccoli peppercorn salad, grilled salmon and a vegetarian chili.  And if you're in the mood for a not-too-decadent treat, the flatbreads at Pinocchio Village Haus are really quite good.  Do keep in mind that specific menu items are subject to change, but there is almost always something healthy on the menu!

Honestly, Disney has come a really long way in offering healthy fare that tastes good, too, in their quick-service dining locations.  Hopefully I've given you some great suggestions.  And if you find that you have some follow-up questions, I hope you won't hesitate to write me back; I'd love to help!

Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists.
