Hello Crystal and may I wish you a very warm welcome to planDisney!
These are such epic questions, Crystal. Thank you for bringing them to us here at planDisney!
With so many things to do in Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort, I feel sure that your whole family, from the young to the simply young at hEARt will be both enthralled, and entertained by all the magic and enchantment on offer.
My own family just loves to
dine our way around the most magical place on earth, and in doing so we've learned that nothing beats dining with the Big Cheese himself at
Chef Mickey's within Disney's Contemporary Resort. Another top character dining spot that I think your 11-yEAR-old Mouseketeer might enjoy is
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera where Guests can have Breakfast a la Art with Mickey & Friends.
As with most things at Walt Disney World Resort, you will find dining to be ultimately very family-friendly indeed. At this time the only
dining experience that I can recall that only welcomes diners aged 10 years old, and older is the temporarily unavailable Victoria & Albert's at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
When
considering which Disney Resorts Collection hotel best suits your family's needs, I think that beginning with which has the best Resort Pool is a totally splashtastic place to start! Without a doubt, the very best Resort Pool on Disney property is
Stormalong Bay which is shared between Disney's Beach Club Resort and
Disney's Yacht Club Resort. The 3-acre large Stormalong Bay is almost a water park in its own right! It benefits from a life-sized shipwreck that houses one of the tallest waterslides in a Disney Resort Pool, 3 whirlpools spas, and a gradual entry, sandy-bottomed pool area.
I feel sure that whatever choices are finally made, you and your lovely family will create some unforgettable memories together at Walt Disney World Resort. Another top planDisney tip is to be sure to make
Advanced Dining Reservations at select Disney restaurants up to 60-days ahead of time via My Disney Experience!Crystal, I truly hope that I've been able to provide you with a little pixie-dusted insight today. If you did have any further questions, then please do just give
me a little whistle here at planDisney!Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
